Naked woman in Capitec incident charged with damage to prope
A video has been doing the rounds on social media of a woman destroying a Capitec Bank branch in the Western Cape.
The incident happened on Tuesday.
In the video the woman, who was completely naked, is seen looking agitated throwing computers around and destroying items in the bank.
Capitec Bank says the incident left staff and consumers shocked.
“We at Capitec are as perplexed by this matter which happened at the Strand branch as everyone else and we are trying to get to the bottom of this.”

Meanwhile, Western Cape police spokesperson says a case has been opened against the 41-year-old woman.
“We can confirm that a malicious damage to property case was opened for investigation at Strand police station. A 41-year-old suspect was arrested, and she will appear in the Strand Magistrate’s Court once charged.”
The reason for the woman’s conduct is not known.
