What your driving style says about you
Updated | By Minenhle Khoza
These
days, anything can be used to determine your personality. Even your driving
style!
You can tell quite a lot about a person’s mental state by their driving. Some of us are patient drivers, others impatient, and others are just angry drivers. We know that if you get behind the wheel while you’re angry, you tend to become a more aggressive driver. If you’re late for work, you probably take more risks than you usually would.
We recently discovered that your sleeping position and how women put on their bras can also be used to determine personality type, but what about the way hold the steering wheel while driving?
Are you the perfectionist, the cool kid, the nervous Nelie, the bulldozer or the boss?
The perfectionist
The perfectionist keeps their hands in the “10 and 2” position. They like to do things the correct way, pay attention to detail, and they play by the rules. They believe that anything worth doing is worth doing right, and everyone else aspires to be like them.
The cool kid
One hand on the steering wheel, leaning back. You are the definition of cool and suave. Well, at least you think you are. You don’t take life too seriously and have a relaxed, chilled approach to life. To the rest of us, it appears as if you don’t have a care in the world. When everyone is looking for a day of fun, they turn to you.
The bulldozer
As the name suggests, bulldozers do not have time for people who get in their way. Bulldozers are busy, and they do not waste time on coming up with problem solving plans, they prefer to plow through things leaving anything that’s in their way eating dust. Bulldozers are goal and action-oriented.
The nervous Nellie
Nervous Nellies like to double and triple check their work, just to be safe. They are usually shy away from high-risk activities, often choosing predictability over spontaneity.
The boss
You are a leader. You are clear and decisive in everything you do. Others look up to you and trust you, largely because you are so confident in your abilities. At work, you often receive praise for your leadership skills. In love, you may struggle slightly in finding someone who complements your “Type A” nature, but when you do, it will definitely have been worth the wait!
