Store clerk fights robbers with weed bong
A store clerk in Canada managed to fight off a small group of robbers using nothing but a bong.
Working as a store clerk comes with many risks and responsibilities, not least of which is making sure the property and the products are protected while making the shopping the experience convenient for all patrons. The staff at a Tyendinaga, Canada shop selling recreational cannabis had to combine all these responsibilities with fighting for their lives when three men stormed in determined to rob the place.
The suspects, wearing masks and wielding bear spray as a weapon, tried to get the better of the shop staff.

The men run up and one of them discharges the bear spray and the male employee picks up an unlikely weapon to defend himself: a weed bong. The piece of drug paraphernalia was likely the first thing the man laid his eyes on that seemed like it could do some damage.
The robbers, still determined to get what they came for, discharge the bear spray again and one of them throws a plastic dustbin at the employee, who remains undeterred: "They were met with great resistance by the store clerk. Despite being sprayed with bear spray, the clerk managed to successfully fight them off and force them from the store."
As he chases the robbers away, the employee swings the bong one last time and makes contact - possibly with the door or one of the robbers - and proceeds to shout insults at them.
The bong may not be the toughest weapon around, what with its close association with the laid-back lifestyle of stoners, but here it turned out to be just what was needed. The suspects certainly won't be back to rob this store again.
