A raccoon stole this woman's fish right off the hook!

Between the woman with the fishing rod, the raccoon, and the gaping red fish, it's difficult to tell who was having the worst luck?
When you go on a fishing trip, you expect to catch at least one fish that you can pose with proudly in a photo for social media.
What you don't expect, is to have to wrestle your one good fish out of the claws of a greedy raccoon.

While she was fishing in Louisiana, Meredith caught herself a red fish. Before she could get the fish off the hook, a raccoon ran into the swamp and grabbed it!
Meredith realised that she was not going to walk away with the fish this time, and tried to calm the raccoon down so that she could unhook it and give it to him.
A hungry raccoon - especially one that gives up its nocturnal habits to go searching for food - can be quite unpredictable, and in this case there really are plenty of other fish in the "sea".
