Well, this is one way to signal a successful surgery!
When Dan Fabbio was diagnosed with a brain tumour, he was afraid he would lose not only his livelihood, but also one of his greatest passions in life.
According to NBC News, the brain tumour was located in the part of the brain that is responsible for music function, which worried the music teacher.
A team consisting of physicians, scientists, and a music professor came up with a strategy of ensuring that Dan did not lose his musical abilities.
When he woke up, he serenaded the staff in the operating room with a few melodies. It may not have been his best performance yet, but the notes were definitely there!
