Lightning strikes few meters away from man, destroys back yard

A man filming a storm was almost hit by a lightning bolt which landed just a few meters away from him.

According to mirror.co.uk, Daniel Modøl was admiring the storm from his back yard in Gjerstad, Norway when the bolt of lightning suddenly hit the ground.

The video shows beautiful dark clouds that fill up the sky and a few strikes of lighting hitting the nearby terrain before the huge lightning bolt strikes and destroys Daniel's garden.

This finally gave him enough reason to run back inside, because clearly the events that occurred before that did not give him a big enough scare!
