Horrifying moment vehicle reverses over seated woman

A video has recently surfaced showing a vehicle reversing over a woman who was seated on the pavement.
The shocking footage was captured by CCTV cameras and posted to YouTube. It shows how a red vehicle backing into a parking spot drove over a woman. In the video, one can see the vehicle pausing for some time and then proceeding to reverse. The driver clearly does not see the woman seated on the pavement and she is caught underneath its tyres.
Did something go wrong? Did the driver's foot slip? Was this an accident? These are just some of the questions we asked ourselves after watching this. It appears that the driver was a learner driver and one can see the driving instructor stepping away and allowing the learner to perform the parallel park.
Hold up! Who allows their learner driver to parallel park in public? These lessons should be taught in a private space dedicated to driving schools!
