Hilarious police advice will save you from falling for new scam
Updated | By Poelano Malema
Most men would jump at the opportunity of getting a friend request from a pretty lady. While many will accept the friend request without even thinking twice, this new internet scam may just make you think twice!
Apparently the scam involves getting a friend request from a pretty woman on Facebook, followed by her asking men to do ‘sexual’ things in front of the camera. Unfortunately, what follows the sexual acts is a demand for cash ranging from $300 to $600, Mashable reported.
But if you haven’t fallen victim of the scam, Bangor Police Department have some pretty good advice which they posted on their Facebook page. Follow the steps to avoid becoming a victim.
-Go to the closest mirror.
- Look at yourself.
-Give yourself an honest review and realise that there is no reason in the world that an attractive lady from the Philippines wants to be your friend.
- Return to the computer and delete the friend request.
-Continue looking at lawnmowers, motorcycles, and jacked-up trucks that are for sale in your region of the country.
-Realise that you just saved yourself from showing the world what no one really needs to see, and a whole lot of cash.
Easy, right?! Hilarious!
