Here's what happens when an Australian shepherd runs with scissors

It is well-known that children should never run with scissors - but happens when a dog does it?

No one should ever run with a pair of scissors in their hands. There are just too many things that can go wrong - accidentally stabbing yourself is not even the worst outcome.

This is why parents have been warning children not to grab scissors and run with them. But what happens if your furry babies get a hold of the sharp objects?

For the owner of one mini-Australian shepherd, seeing a dog with a pair of scissors in its mouth resulted in a small moment of chaos

The man, having spotted the scissors, asks the dog to hand them over. The dog does what any naughty child would do: he turns and runs away.

The man immediately panics, saying: "no, don't run with scissors!"

The way the video ends so abruptly can only mean that he ran after the dog and tried to extract the scissors from its mouth before anything bad happened.

The dog certainly raised the man's blood pressure for a minute.

What is it with pets who always find mischievous ways to test their owners' patience?
