Five ways to celebrate 'Star Wars Day'

Are you a big fan of 'Star Wars'? Do you love getting in touch with the galactic creatures and characters? Well, then May the 4th is the best day to celebrate just that!

We have come up with a number of ways that you can celebrate this amazing day:

1. Play video games all day!

There is no doubt that video games and mobile games are at the top of the list. Games, and especially console games, have become a vital part of the industry and more so, the movie world. Movies are being based off games such as 'Assassin's Creed' and 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider'. So best you get on that couch and play your favourite 'Star Wars' video game! 

2. Watch the entire 'Star Wars' franchise in one day

Are you up for the challenge? We ask this because there A LOT of them. From movies to series, 'Star Wars' has become a world-wide phenomenon and this is thanks to its loyal fans. From 'The Phantom Menace' all the way through to 'The Force Awakens', that's 17 hours and 40 minutes of film you will need to watch - and it doesn't include the animated series! 

3. Read a few of the books

There are a number of 'Star Wars' novels available that you can read today. Whether it be online or physical, novels based on the films or comic books are available for you to enjoy. 

4. Cosplay

If you are a big fan of the franchise, you would already have thought about dressing up as your favourite character. People really get into this, and some go into fine detail when dressing up and representing the franchise. This is fun and the whole family can get involved! 

5. Throw a 'Star Wars' party 

You might as well throw a 'Star Wars' themed party if you're already dressing up, right? With so many characters to choose from and tons of delicious treats you can make, you might just have the best party you have ever had!
