This elderly couple has just raised the standard for grocery shopping
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
An elderly couple found a way to get all their shopping done without once losing each other in store.
Grocery shopping is an intense exercise. You need upper body strength to carry your basket and you need to have the energy to walk from aisle to aisle looking for all the items on your list.
If you can find a way to take all the effort out of shopping but still make it home with enough food to stock up your fridge, then it can be said that you have found the answer to one of life's greatest questions.
When Twitter user BijanTrades walked into his local Target, he expected to see at least one elderly person driving around the aisles on a motorised scooter. But what he did not expect to see is a man pulling his wife behind him.

This man was towing his wife at Target 😂👫👵🏼👴🏼 pic.twitter.com/XmZZoHpwzz
There was the man's wife, in a chair with wheels, being pulled behind her husband's motorised wheelchair. That's one way to ensure that the elderly couple don't lose each other in the huge store.
But it's also a genius idea to double productivity: they can cover twice as much ground while still only going into each aisle once. They save time and energy.
People are lauding the couple's strategy, even going as far as saying shopping trips like these are what all couples in long-term relationships should strive for.

Will you be the one pulling your partner around the shop when the two of you are too old to walk?
