Dog with human features confuses the internet
Yogi the Shih-poo has a face that looks remarkably like that of a human. Are people on the internet going crazy, or is there really something strange going on here?
It has been said that if you have your dog for long enough, eventually the two of you start to look alike. There have been instances of owners and dogs looking so much alike that they must have chosen each other in some previous life.
There has been research into the intense bond between dogs and humans that causes them to gravitate towards their lookalikes. And besides that, it is also really funny to see owners walking alongside their canine doppelgangers.
However, outside of similar hairstyles or compatible personalities, there has been no resemblance so strong as to lead people to question whether the dog is, in fact, a human being. Until now.
A photo of a Shih-poo named Yogi has sent observers into a frenzy. Yogi appears to have the eyes and face of a human being, but the body of a dog. Does that sound too good to be true? Look at the picture below and judge for yourself:
Those eyes, his jaw, and even his pout make Yogi look like a human. But if you still don't see anything weird here, look at Yogi in comparison to his sister, Darla the Shih Tzu:
Incredible, isn't it? The owner of the two dogs, Chantal Desjardins, says she did not notice Yogi's resemblance to a human man until friends pointed it out to her.
