In life, there will be times where you have to walk through the back door or jump over a fence to get to where you are going.

The path is not always straightforward, and there are many possible barriers to progress.

This is a life lesson that applies to your pets, too.

For these two corgis, the barrier to progress came in the form of a short fence. The two pups are confused by the fence, not realising that there is a very simple way to get around it.

Their owner calls to them, and they attempt to walk past or through the fence, ignoring the gap in the side that would guarantee them easy access to the outside world.

This says a lot about the power of the mind, even in dogs. They had a way out, but because they believed they were locked in, they stayed behind the fence.

Who knew corgis struggle to put mind over matter just like we do?
