Angry Joburg mob overturn vehicle and beat alleged ATM thief
A Johannesburg mob took the law into their own hands when they overturned the vehicle of a suspected ATM thief. The incident took place in the Proteas Garden Mall, Soweto.
Violence is an understatement when it comes to this footage we found. Shoppers went all out after identifying a man who allegedly tried to steal a woman's card at an ATM in Soweto.
Upon rushing back to his vehicle, after getting in, an angry mob overturned his vehicle, smashing windows and dragged him out. The video was widely shared on social media, after the overturned vehicle caused chaos.
The man was left bloodied and taken to hospital.
