A daughter moved up her wedding date and changed her venue to the hospital courtyard because her father was battling cancer and didn't have much time left.
When we think about weddings, we rarely associate them with sadness or heartache.
They are generally filled with laughter, happy times, and joyfulness. But sometimes weddings have to be moulded to suit what is happening around you.
A readjusted version of what's important comes into play when time is not in abundance.
For this bride, it was a readjustment of her wedding day to make sure that her dad was there with her.
Her dad was battling cancer and didn't have much time left.
Instead of looking at this in a negative way, she decided to use it as an opportunity to create some good memories with her father and their families.
They decided to bring the wedding date closer and changed the venue.
Not to a fancier place, but rather to the hospital courtyard.
This way her dad could walk her down the aisle and be a part of the festivities. This story was not only heartwarming but a true reminder to never take anything for granted.
Because time is something that we can never get back. When you fuel your days with love and creating wonderful memories, then you will live a fulfilled life and that is essentially what is priceless.
