WATCH: Mom openly shares that she has an issue with her son's daycare teacher
This is an awkward situation to be in...
As a parent whose kids are in school, it can be daunting to have to deal with a disinterested teacher.
First and foremost, you don't want to undermine the teacher, as you never know what type of person they are and how that may affect your kid. And, second, it's just awkward to approach someone telling them how they should be doing their job.
However, as a parent you have the right to speak up for your child, especially when your child is unable to speak up for themselves.
This mother did exactly that by using social media as her means of venting.
She shared a video that gained over six-million views asking people if she in fact was wrong for freaking out at her son's daycare teacher.
The young mother shared that she found her son sitting on his teacher's lap, with his onesie unbuttoned. When she picked him up, his diaper was so full that it wet his onesie.
Now if you're a parent, then you would know that this happens sometimes when the child's nappy is over full and leaks out onto their clothes.
When she questioned the daycare teacher about this, she casually responded by saying that she didn't know, and that the mom should check his book.
We are by no means taking sides here, but we can understand that the teacher isn't just responsible for caring for one child, but at the same time the parent has entrusted you to care for their child in their absence.
And when you as a teacher are unable to respectfully care for that child, then maybe you shouldn't be in that field.
