Sometimes being kind does pay...
Social experiments are really nice when there is a reward at the end - and one such experiment really ended with a cherry on top for a woman in a grocery store.
A guy who walked around a grocery store asking people if they could help him with a bottle of water was sadly disappointed after several rejections.
But just as hope was dying, a woman surprised him with her kindness.

The thing is that as much as all the rejections could have easily meant that there was no hope, he kept going.
The rejections weren't what mattered, it fuelled him to find someone who would say yes.
And eventually he found someone...

This woman saying yes was a true testament to the fact that in life you will get many rejections, but you should never concentrate on those.
Just focus on the positive, because eventually it will come.
