Video creator does a social experiment and is shocked by the results

So, so disappointing...

We live in a world where we work on familiarity.

When we see someone standing in the middle of a busy space with a board, we immediately associate this with someone begging.

Well, at least that is what we have become conditioned into assuming in South Africa.

But it seems that we are not the only ones.

A video content creator recently posted a social experiment online.

In the video, we see him, Samuel Weidenhofer, standing in the middle of a busy sidewalk with a large sign in his hands.

On the board he has written the following: "I have anxiety and depression. I just need someone to talk to." (Instagram)

You would think that in such a busy walkway, at least one person would stop to check in on him...

Sadly, no one does. People either pass him by, not even paying him any attention, or look at him and walk away in a hurry.

Then he proceeds to flip the board around and the sign now has money attached to it saying: "Free Money".
