Travelling with kids? This mom shares some valuable tips on air travel with the little ones
Updated | By The Workzone with Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp
Let's be honest, we are already on holiday mode...
Traveling with kids is never an easy thing - and we cannot blame them, as adults we too feel anxious when traveling.
There is just so much going on, you have to be on high alert, and you have to be prepared because there is such a thing as unforeseen circumstances.
Which is why we are happy to have found some pointers from this mother who travelled with her two-year-old on a long-haul flight.

It surely can be daunting to travel with kids in general, but somehow it is more daunting to travel with younger kids.
This mother's tips are definitely helpful. With a few tweaks, you will feel confident during your travels, rather than anxious.
Over and above her suggestions of using pull ups, she also says that carrying spare sets of clothes for your kids and yourself in nappy sacks, saves space.

We would like to add a few more things to her list though. Keep chewy sweets available for younger kids so that they don't feel the ear pop during takeoffs and landing.
And keep a bag full of activities to keep kids occupied. We find colouring books, stickers, fidget pop its, puzzles, and building blocks as good options.
