There is this expectation on us as parents to always encourage our kids to share.
The concept has been talked about on a number of occasions by experts and non-experts. Some agree that it is important, whilst others say that it is not necessary to instil this from a young age.
Regardless of the fact, asking a young baby to share and having them say no, doesn't make them a bad child.

It merely means that they are being kids, they are acting within their rights to say no to sharing.
And we as parents need to get that mentality out of our heads, the one that paints our kids in a negative light if they chose not to share.
Tricky one, but definitely one that needs to be dethroned.
