Mom gets called out for using child leash
Are parents allowed to parent the way they feel fit? Never, everyone always has an opinion.
When it comes to going out with the kids, it isn't always as exciting for the parents as it is for the kids.
For obvious reasons, of course, shopping with kids can be really tiring.
More than that many parents are fearful of taking their kids out in public because of a host of dangers. Not to sound totally paranoid, but it can be extremely stressful.

The mother - whose name is Alexis - is now facing negative comments on TikTok for sharing how she protects her kids.
She uses hand leashes on her kids when they go out, and as you may know, doing so gets mixed views from parents and non-parents.
For one, many parents find it demeaning, but more than that, some parents feel it is not practical. If the child runs off while using the leash, and the parent pulls back, it may hurt their already developing wrist.
Sadly, the world we live in has forced us as a community of parents to use things like hand leashes in an effort to keep our kids in sight, and close to us.
Perhaps we need to move away from shaming each other and rather put ourselves in other's shoes.
Because if you don't know what someone has been through, then you cannot judge them for the life they lead.
