Now this is what we call being a go-getter!
Life is what you make of it. Heard of that saying? What about when life gives you lemons, make lemonade?
Well, this young lady took lemons and turned into a multi-million dollar business...
Mikaila Ulmer was just four when she thought up the idea of creating her own lemonade stand. And now, she is not just an aspiring entrepreneur but also a multi-millionaire.
As a young child, Mikaila received an old cookbook from her great grandmother.
Although the book was old, she found a 1940s recipe for flaxseed lemonade. She added her own special twist to the recipe and began selling it at her very own lemonade stand.
Her lemonade business has boomed since then. When she was just 11, a Whole Foods brand picked up her lemonade in their stores.

Since then she has become a multi-millionaire, been across the globe, been to the White House, and now authored her first book.
She wrote this on her Facebook page before the release of her first book in 2020: "What started with a lemonade stand in my front yard has taken me across the globe, placed me on stage with the leaders of Fortune 500 companies, thrown me into the “Shark Tank,” and led me to events at the White House and back. I am excited to share invaluable life and business lessons in my first book Bee Fearless, Dream Like a Kid."
So if you were doubting yourself today, remember a kid from a town in Texas created a multi-million dollar business from an old recipe and a lemonade stand...
You can do anything you want - it just takes some perseverance and courage.
