Little boy refuses to dance with his debutant and a dad comes to the rescue

Sometimes your knight in shining armour isn’t who you expect it to be…

There’s nothing worse than the feeling that comes with being rejected, especially in public.

And as much as rejection may not be something that we hold onto (consciously anyway) when we become adults, it can be damaging to say the least.

The pressure of learning a dance routine at a kindergarten level can be challenging.

And, sometimes, as most parents know, figuring out your kid’s moods can be tricky.

You never quite know how it is going to end. But all you can do is try to make them feel better.

For this young man, it seemed that no one could get him out of his ‘no dance’ mood. And this led to his partner feeling sad and rejected.

But not for long, as a dad from the audience ran up to save the day.

He jumped up to the task and danced with her on his knees. If anything, this experience will remind her that she is special and worthy.

No hate for the little man, we all allowed to have our bad days, and as adults we are still learning that.
