Husband tells wife she's riding on his income
Always remember there is fair and then there is ridiculous!
Relationships and the dynamics that they bring are anything but easy to manage.
But disrespecting what your partner brings to the table can be so heartbreaking and hurtful.
In a snippet of a video that captured a couple bickering, we hear the husband tell his wife that she has been riding on his income for ten years.
To which she replies, "I have been riding on your income for ten years being a stay-at-home mother, which you wanted me to be."
Now, before you get too annoyed by the insinuation and where this could go, pause.
A TikToker that is in fact a husband and a dad came to the rescue.
In his response video, he plays both the wife and the husband. The scenario is as if the wife is interviewing for the role and the husband is basically telling her all the work she has to do as a stay-at-home mother.
If anything, it is eye-opening. Not just to the community of stay-at-home mothers (and fathers), but also to the fact that some parents do all this whilst still holding down a job.
