Explaining to kids the differences in our eating lifestyles can be a tricky one.
Mostly because they are much more connected to the earth and animals than we were. Not to say that we are heartless.
But our generation lived through a different time. A time when children didn't really question their parents or elders about what they were given to eat.
You eat what you get and you don't complain or have an opinion about it. We lived through a generation where parents did their best to provide and eating meat was considered a luxury.

But this video of a little girl eating supper with her parents has got us in uncomfortable mode.
She is upset, so her parents ask her why she is upset. She then proceeds to share with them that she is upset because she doesn't like to eat animals because they are a part of nature and she loves nature.
Sound reasoning.
But the tricky part comes into play when she says that she really enjoys eating chicken and bacon...

We think these parents handled this like pros.
Being a kid with an overwhelming amount of emotions and feelings can be challenging, but their support really made all the difference.
