This flight attendant needs to learn some manners!

Our initial response: "It's not okay!"
Any grown-up who has kids or is responsible for kids in some way or another knows that being prepared is vital.
Especially when you are out and about.
Part of being prepared means always, always having a snack of some kind, because kids can literally say they are hungry at any time.
We guess this is why aunt to a three-year-old, Dara Braddock, decided to pack a variety of snacks in a cute snack box for her nephew for their flight.
But what was meant to be a calm and pleasant flight turned into an inconsiderate one. Not because of the little boy, but rather because of a flight attendant.
Braddock shared how she was travelling with American Airlines with her three-year-old nephew. During the flight, they were playing a game on his iPad together and he had his headphones on.
The little boy's snack box was left on the food tray and the flight attendant, who previously commented on the tray, came up to them and picked it up and told her that she wanted to take it to show her friend who was seated at the front of the plane.
Flew @AmericanAir today w/a 3 yr old & his snack box of unwrapped food. flight attendant walked by, snatched it without asking, & took it to show a friend seated near the front of the plane. Was gone several minutes. I had to throw it all out. Im incensed! Contacting corporate. pic.twitter.com/pAdiQ5Olcc

Before Braddock could respond, the flight attendant had walked off. Now, let us just take a minute to address that not everyone has been taught what good manners are.
Knocking and walking in is not good manners, you knock and wait for the person to answer before grabbing the door knob.
Just like in this case, the flight attendant seemed to be quite excited to show her friend, who recently became a grandmother, how cute this snack box was.

Braddock composed herself and addressed the situation before disembarking. This is what she said: "I told her that while I understand the fascination with the snack box, as most people think it’s a good idea, it was most definitely not okay for her to just grab someone’s personal property, especially unwrapped food to take it to show some other unknown person somewhere else on the plane."
"Her response was the justification of, 'Oh, I had just washed my hands'. I told her that was not the point at all. She should not help herself to people’s personal items."
The flight attendant did apologise, but Braddock said that she kept rationalising why she took the snack box, which in her opinion negates the apology.
We understand Braddock's frustration.
She expressed that, if anything, the pandemic taught us about sanitation and considering how hard the travel industry got hit, she would've thought they would be more careful and mindful.
Never is it okay for someone to take your things without your proper permission.
