Dad supports his nine-year-old son who enjoys sewing
This is what we all should aspire to as parents - supporting our kids in their interests...
Supporting our kids through their likes and dislikes can be anything but easy.
For one, some parents have that old school mentality of moulding their kids into activities that they were once interested in. Not to say they are bad parents, but sometimes perhaps they envisioned their kids following in their footsteps.
But being a parent means putting your kids' needs and wants before your own. It doesn't have to be all the time, but sometimes it is important.
A father took to TikTok to share his son's passion for sewing. To see the pride and joy that he expresses is so endearing.
He posted a video that has since gone viral, showing the collared shirt that his son sewed for him.
And what really inspired us was the way he embraced his son's passion and even went as far as saying he would wear the shirt out to dinner.

The fact that people from all over resonated with his love for sewing and began sending him their loved one's fabric was definitely a great example of paying-it-forward.
In a way, this father's dedication to his son's passion in turn inspired others to find purpose in their own lives.
Plus, it was a great lead-by-example moment, because when we embrace our kids' love for things, we end up bringing up happy children, and that will always help them progress in life.
