You can now 3D print food that tastes like meat

A reimagined way of looking at meat and sustainable eating.
When you think about the future of food, we bet you don't think about eating food that has been printed, right?
But the truth is the future of food is something of an uncertain territory when it comes to the environmental impact of traditional meat production.
And for meat lovers, it is a devastating thing to talk and think about.
But one man who has envisioned something different for both the environment and meat lovers is astounding people with his supposition.
Ben Shitrit, the CEO and founder of Redefine Meat, has reimagined the process of creating meat. Meat-free meals are said to be just as juicy and delectable as the real thing.
He embarked on a journey with experts to create a 3D printer that prints food that doesn't lack the flavour that comes with biting into a juicy, meaty burger or steak.
"Is it at all possible to print "meat"? Most probably disagree that it is possible; nevertheless, this is precisely what Redefine Meat is all about! Think of meat as layers of complex structure crafted from muscle, fat, and blood, and if you can recreate the structures and replace the animal components with plant-based ones, you get something that not only looks like meat but have taste, texture, and feel like meat. Take that from a meat-lover." (YouTube)
