Wife's death wish leaves husband feeling uneasy

He was so confused about her request that he asked the Reddit community for help...
We rarely choose to think about the day that we have to leave this life.
In this case, it was a woman who got the sad news that she was terminally ill and only had months to live.
Of course, this is what prompted her husband spilling the tea, asking the Reddit community if he was an A-hole...
The husband began his post on the Reddit group by saying that he was 'destroyed' after finding out that his wife of ten years had a terminal disease.
"The doctors said that she was likely to need a wheelchair in 4 or 5 months, then by month 8 she’ll be bedridden for the last few weeks. That’s if she doesn’t decline faster." (Unilad)
What's worse, if we dare say that, is that her husband had to bear listening to her ask for her dying wish.
She asked him if she could have one last intimate night with an ex-lover of hers.
And, of course, he was totally taken aback by it all. He went on to share that she believed her most physically satisfying partner was her ex.
He was upset that she put him in this very difficult position and felt at odds with what the right decision would be.

"I know what I want to say, but I don’t know if that’s right. I’m so hurt that sex with an ex was apparently so good that she needs to do it once before she dies. I just hate everything about this. I’m really not sure what to do." (Unilad)
People were very vocal about their feelings.
The majority shared that they felt she was being unreasonable and that it was not fair for her to ask that of him.
Although we don't know what it is like to be on your deathbed, we do think that maybe she was just putting herself first...
