Police car has LED sign with funny warning
It's fair to say that if you are South African and cannot take a joke, you need to lighten up...
South Africans can find humour in almost anything. Call it a coping mechanism or part of our RSA DNA, regardless, we are always there for a joke and take pride in sharing in the laughter.
A video shared on social media displayed a potentially fun side to the law. We say potentially because we are not so sure it was a legitimate police vehicle in question.
The video showed an LED display sign inside the back of what looked like a police vehicle. The sign's programmed message reads: "Free accommodation. Just piss me off!"
The questionable part was whether this falls within the rules and regulations of a police vehicle. A sign like this might fall within the lawful appearance of an official vehicle.
