Image is sometimes everything. Many people are all about ticking boxes when it comes to fulfilling a certain stereotype.
Now, it's not always a good thing considering it lends itself to being vain and self-absorbed about the way one looks physically.
But it certainly is humourous when you hear someone share their truth about only making an effort in their looks so that they can be labeled the hot wife.
A woman by the name of Christina, who is known for her honest and open videos on TikTok, shared that her husband recently told her that she and the kids were invited to his company braai.
And to her this meant getting ready to the tee.
She goes on to describe that it is important for her to present to the world that her husband has a hot wife.
And she pleaded with TikTok to share if anyone out there also did this.
It was not meant to be sexist or defamatory, just good old-fashioned funny content - and you will be surprised to note that many other women shared her sentiment.
