Milo on toast? A creative way of satisfying your sweet cravi
Updated | By Jacaranda FM/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
What do you do when a chocolate craving hits and all you have is bread, butter and Milo?

Create Milo toast, of course!
Creating a meal out of things left in the grocery cupboard doesn't always work. Sometimes it works out and you end up with a masterpiece, other times it can flop as quickly as a poorly made soufflé.
Milo toast is the latest social media food fad. According to the internet foodies, it's a must-try if you crave something slightly sweet.
Surely this it cannot be crazier than spreadable coffee on toast.
An Australian social media foodie shared the recipe on Instagram, and according to the content creator "it's actually yum".
ne person wasn't too convinced with the idea, saying: "It's great until you go to bite into it, breathe in, and find yourself fighting for dear life."
We have to admit, the thought of the powdery drink mix on toast doesn't sound appealing, but the trick here is to spread butter generously on the toast. The Milo dissolves into the butter.

This isn't new for some people. One person shared their Milo snack idea: "Milo sandwiches on soft white bread and lots of butter was such a treat in the 70’s!!!"
Another said, "Eaten it for the last 50 years. Delicious."
"This is very popular in certain parts of SE Asia - try it with condensed milk."
"I’ve put Milo on toast when there was no more milk in the fridge lol."
"Loved Milo on toast as a kid - the more Milo the better and hot & buttery white toast. Just don’t breathe in as you bite."
