Usually, when it comes to shopping, the plan of action is paying for your goods before you consume them.
But there have been some exceptions, unauthorised ones anyway.
A TikToker who shares fun content on his platform shared a video that was aimed to be funny. Funny, maybe, but one thing he managed to do extremely well is annoy the cashier.
He shared a candid camera-style video that showed him eating a banana before handing the peel to the cashier to scan.
Now if you have ever been shopping, you will know that loose fruits and veggies usually get weighed and then scanned.
And although it isn't quite allowed, we have seen people who have eaten an item whilst in the store and then take the empty item to be scanned when they are at checkout.
Even though we know he did this for entertainment purposes, we can understand that the cashier most likely gets customers who do this sort of thing often.
Her irritation gets the better of her when she asks the customer behind him (we think he was in on it too) for his banana so she can scan it.
