Cape Town shoppers who are pollution-conscious can shop at a new plastic-free grocery store, starting this November.
Environmental activism will soon reach a new frontier as Cape Town opens the doors of its first plastic-free grocery store in November, reports Huffington Post SA.

Nude Foods will be located on Constitution street, and will give shoppers the chance to bring their own bags, jars and boxes to weight and pack their food in.
Billed as a “nude grocer”, the shop will offer an alternative to the heavy plastic packaging that comes with most regular grocery items.
The opening of the store comes in the wake of The Guardian's reports on a new law in Kenya that makes using, selling or producing plastic bags
illegal. According to the new law, citizens can be fined up to R500 000 or
even sent to jail for not being conscious about the effects of plastic.
