On Monday morning, a 6-year-old Grade R girl was kidnapped by four men in front of Laerskool Kollegepark in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, at around 07:40 am.

The kidnappers are demanding R2 million for the young girl.

In Cape Town, the 42-year-old male suspect has been charged with the 19-year-old's rape, murder and for defeating the ends of justice.

Uyinene Mrwetyana was last seen alive two weeks ago at a post office in Claremont where the suspect - accused of allegedly raped and bludgeoned her victim - works.
