WATCH: TikTok balance challenge that only women can do
Updated | By Scenic Drive With Rian
The new TikTok challenge tests the balance of women and men - and apparently, only women can do it.
A trick to test gravity on TikTok challenges viewers to maintain their balance while standing on their knees and lifting their elbows off the ground.
Jeremy Johnson, a scientist, mentioned that there is a good reason why men struggle with it.
According to Johnson, the centre of mass for most girls is lower to the hips, while the centre of mass in boys is much higher.

Other research also mentioned that older boys tend to have bigger, heavier shoulders and a higher centre of gravity. Older girls will keep a lower centre of gravity, which is naturally located in the pelvis.
Want to test it? Stand on your knees on the ground and place your elbows on the ground in front of you. Place your hands under your chin to support your head. Put one hand behind your back, followed by the other hand and try to stay in the same position without falling.
A TikTok couple, Jason and Rachel, gave it a try, and the challenge went viral on social media.
