During the State Of The Union address earlier this week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi displayed bizarre behaviour that caused some to wonder if she was "on drugs" or "drunk".

Throughout the hour-and-two-minute speech, Madam Speaker was in full view directly behind President Joe Biden.
In the course of the speech, the 81-year-old acted erratically, jumping up and rubbing her knuckles in glee after Biden mentioned soldiers are breathing toxic air.

She also rubbed her tongue over her teeth inside her mouth at other times.
Her bizarre behaviour inspired memes and went viral on social media.
