WATCH: Rihanna might just release new music "soon, soon, soon"

The Barbadian award-winning singer Rihanna has recorded eight studio albums and has collaborated with other artists for duets and featured songs on their respective albums, which also includes charity songs.

The billionaire has also been named one of the top 10 greatest artists of all time.

But since the 'Work' hitmaker launched her cosmetics brand, Fenty, in 2017, the singer has not yet released any new music. 

Rihanna previously promised her new album will be "worth the wait".

Rihanna has mentioned that she is "always" working on her music and despite fans' pleas for her to share her latest material, she wants to wait until she's completely satisfied.

"I'm always working on new music. Just because I haven't released an album in a few years doesn't mean I haven't been working on it.

"I'm not just going to put music out because people are craving it. I'm going to make it worth the wait - and it will be worth the wait."

But it looks like the singer might be releasing music "soon" - and Philicity Reeken from the Scenic Drive with Rian, who is a massive fan of the song 'Work', might be in for a treat!

In a new exchange with a paparazzi, who asked: “Any new music? Anything?”, she replied: “Soon, soon, soon."
