WATCH: Chicken Licken honours ordinary South Africans in new ad
Updated | By Scenic Drive With Rian
The new Chicken Licken advert about the COVID-19 times that we are in has left South Africa in stitches.
South Africa has been under lockdown for over 100 days.
During this period, many ordinary South Africans have made us laugh by posting videos on social media.
Chicken Licken jumped on the bandwagon and launched their brand new ad. The ad features the hilarious comedian Tyson Ngubeni and the hit parody song, 'When People Zol', by producer Max Hurrell.

Chicken Licken also poked fun at President Cyril Ramaphosa for struggling to put on his mask, and the couple that was arrested at a roadblock for trying to smuggle a woman to Mpumalanga in the car's boot.
Oh, and they did not forget about cigarettes being banned.
They captioned the ad: It takes a #SoulfulNation to make it through these tough times. That’s why for our new ad, we are honouring the ordinary people who have kept us entertained and our spirits up during #LockdownSA.
