Want to buy coffee and a croissant? Only if you are vaccinated...

You can now only get a coffee and a croissant at a French cafe if you have proof that you have been vaccinated or tested negative for COVID-19.

In most cities, the ritual is to visit your favourite cafe for a coffee and a croissant. However, this ritual became more complicated at a French cafe after people had to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test before taking a seat.

Romain Dicrescenzo, manager of the cafe spoke to Reuters, mentioning that dozens of people were turned away - some who had forgotten the proof as well as those who had not been vaccinated.

On Friday, The Met Gala announced that guests who have not been vaccinated will not be able to attend the fashion event. All invited guests must provide proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Celebrities have also opened up about only allowing vaccinated friends and family members in their inner circle. The award-winning actress, Jennifer Aniston, removed friends from her life who were not vaccinated. 

In an interview with InStyle, Aniston said that it is a "real shame" that there are still so many people who are still anti-vaxxers.

The presenter of 'CBS Morning', Gayle King, admitted that she banned unvaccinated family members from her annual vacation in July.
