VIDEO: Woman mauled by jaguar after jumping into enclosure
The woman apparently stepped into the enclosure hoping to take a selfie with the jaguar.
The incident took place at the Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park in Litchfield Park in Arizona, USA. The zoo confirmed that the woman jumped in to snap a photo with the animal.
Although the woman did not sustain any life-threatening injuries, her arms were injured.

The spokesperson for the zoo said that the animal never left its enclosure and will not be put down over the incident.
We can promise you nothing will happen to our jaguar. She’s a wild animal and there were proper barriers in place to keep our guests safe- not a wild animals fault when barriers are crossed. Still sending prayers to her and her family.

Footage filmed by a witness showed the woman writhing in pain with lacerations to her arm.
