'They have more appreciation for life now' - South Africa Johan McCoy living in New York during partial lockdown

The Scenic Drive talked to Johan McCoy who stays in New York. He shares more about how they are dealing with the coronavirus outbreak after a lockdown was announced.
Health Minister, Zweli Mhize announced that South Africa's tally of positive cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus has increased to 402 on Monday.

Due to the spreading of the virus in South Africa - the Scenic Drive decided to talk to Johan McCoy who lives in New York to share his experiences and how the city are dealing with the pandemic.
"I don't think it's a complete lockdown. We are still able to walk around.
"They do encourage people to go out to get fresh air and exercise. The bars are also close. Liquor stores, pharmacies and supermarkets are still open."
McCoy told Rian that the reality hasn't sunk in yet for many people. "People seem to be happier - part of it is because people are in their houses. They have more appreciation for life now," McCoy.
