Survey - 40% of workers globally are thinking about resigning

COVID-19 forced companies all over the world to send their employees home to work. Working from home has plenty of benefits like; better work-life balance, less stress, and saving money.

But what about those who don't work from home? 

A survey was recently conducted by Microsoft - and the results showed that 40% of workers are thinking about quitting their jobs. 

54% of junior workers, ages 18-25, are especially struggling and are facing burnout. The research showed that bosses need to support them more and must implement remote working for a more balanced lifestyle.

A similar survey was done by the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the United States, showing that employees are considering leaving their jobs if companies do not implement remote working.

Microsoft found that employees want the best of both worlds.

“Employee expectations are changing, and we will need to define productivity much more broadly - inclusive of collaboration, learning and wellbeing to drive career advancement for every worker, including frontline and knowledge workers, as well as for new graduates and those who are in the workforce today. All this needs to be done with flexibility in, when, where and how people work," Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said in the report.
