Scary or daring? Three big lions surround vehicle at KNP
Tourists exploring the Kruger National Park (KNP) could not have imagined a sighting this special… or scary!
“We spent quite some time with the lions and after a while, the lions lost interest and we carried on.”
These are the words of Simone, who had a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Tourists were on a self-drive when two curious male lions appeared and rubbed themselves against the vehicle.

According to latestsightings.com, 24-year-old candidate attorney, Simone van Schalkwyk, saw the male lions near Lower Sabie.
Van Schalkwyk said: “We had gone out on a very early morning game drive, as the only thing I wanted from our trip was to see big male lions. After passing some buffalo dung we carried on driving and then we saw these beautiful male lions walking in the road – finally, we had found them!”

In the video one can see there are three lions but only two opted to explore their surroundings.
