Rian van Heerden tests positive for COVID-19
Rian van Heerden tested positive for COVID-19 - and he is isolating.
TV presenter, producer and the host of 'The Scenic Drive with Rian' on Jacaranda FM, Rian van Heerden tested positive for COVID-19.
Van Heerden went in for an operation on Monday to remove a kidney stone and tested positive.

Van Heerden is currently not broadcasting and will soon be back with the team.
"I apologize that I have been so scarce behind the microphone for the last month or so. It's as if a myriad of medical issues simultaneously formed the perfect storm. 46 is not for 'sissies', especially not with my type of lifestyle. So kidney stone is out today but from tomorrow in self-isolation with my COVID," Van Heerden wrote on Facebook.

Ek vra om verskoning dat ek die laaste maand of wat so min agter die mikrofoon was....Dis asof 'n magdom mediese issues tegelyktydig die perfekte storm gevorm het. 46 is nie vir sissies nie, veral nie met my tipe leefstyl nie. So niersteen is vandag uit maar vanaf more in self isolasie met my COVID. Gelukkig asimptomaties. Maar soos ek vantevore gesê het, ons sal hom almal eventually kry. I take a licking but I keep on ticking! Ek wil reel dat ek asap weer uitsaai. COVID of nie.
