Rian van Heerden chats to 'Pulse' producer Sallas de Jager
Producer of the 'Pulse' series on Showmax, Sallas de Jager gets candid about shooting and producing the horror series. Watch the trailer below.
The series 'Pulse' deals with a group of multinational game developers who find out that survival is no longer simply a game when an electromagnetic pulse bomb destroys every electrical circuit in their office building - including people's heads.

The series was filmed in South Africa and Mauritius and was picked by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the 25 buzziest series at this year’s MIPTV, a leading global TV market in Cannes, France.
Writer, director, and producer Sallas de Jager has won numerous accolades and helms 'Pulse'.

He has written and directed several award-winning features, including 'Free State' and 'Dominee Tienie'.
'Free State' earned him the Grand Nile Prize at the Luxor African Film Festival.

'Dominee Tienie' won a Platinum Award at Worldfest Houston. In addition, he wrote 'Roepman', which was nominated for Best Film at the SAFTAs and won Best Supporting Actress for Desiré Gardner.
De Jager visited the Scenic Drive team to talk about the horror series, 'Pulse'.
