And let's be honest: few things are as great as inviting a bunch of your favourite people over to a bring and braai, and then partying the night away.
The LA City Council has different views on the value of house parties, which is why they had no problem introducing a motion to "outlaw house parties in the Hollywood Hills".

Two house party enthusiasts from the area were not prepared to stand by and watch a tradition being flushed away like this. So they entered a meeting of the Council to state their case:
The two men have clearly assumed aliases for this speech, but the question of their identity does not affect the truth in their statements.
How can anyone not see the value in house parties after one of the respondents says: "I discovered I was great at raging, and it revealed wonderful things about myself. I fulfilled my potential".
There is no word on whether any of the council members were moved by the men's speeches.
One thing is for sure: if you are bold enough to stand in front of lawmakers and speak this passionately about partying, you deserve the chance to influence policy-making decisions!
