Here's how to get 2,4 million Insta followers according to Minnie Dlamini-Jones
Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
Minnie Dlamini-Jones shared some tips for building an authentic social media following.
Minnie Dlamini-Jones currently has 2,4 million followers on Instagram, which puts her at the top of a list that includes the likes of Boity Thulo and Bonang Matheba. When asked how she managed to garner such a strong following, she admitted that she doesn't use any particular formula: "There is no colour scheme, no professional photographer. I think my feed looks just like any regular person's would."
That kind of unaffected authenticity seems to sit well with her followers, who comment enthusiastically on all her posts and keep a special place in their hearts for her.
Minnie chose Ivan's picture to post on her feed in an effort to make him 'Insta-famous'. Within ten minutes it had almost 30 likes. It helps to have connections in high places, right Ivan?
South Africans will know Minnie Dlamini-Jones as the woman with the infectious smile and warm personality who has been slowly taking over TV screens over the past eight years.
Since her first gig on SABC 1's LIVE, Dlamini-Jones has gone on to present shows such as Mzansi Insider and HomeGround (where she can currently be seen during the week). She is also an actress who has appeared in popular M-Net productions. She has turned her hand to production with her company Beautiful Day Productions, which was responsible for the three-part wedding documentary Becoming Mrs Jones and has just wrapped production on a series called Spirit of Mzansi.
