Meet the 'MasterChef SA' semi-finalists
The Scenic Drive met the 'MasterChef SA' semi-finalists; Tarryn de Kock, Shawn Godfrey, and Andriette de la Harpe.
In 2022, 'MasterChef SA' made its return to M-NET, channel 101, for season four. Night after night, we’ve tuned in to watch the contestants scrambling in the kitchen to create culinary masterpieces, all in the hopes of impressing judges Justine Drake, Zola Nene, and Gregory Czarnecki.

With this season focusing on heritage and local food, it’s been a proudly South African experience, as seen in everything from the ingredients to the flavours, dishes, and the stories behind them.
On Tuesday, the top three semi-finalists were announced.

Tarryn de Kock, a researcher; Shawn Godfrey, a commercial director; and Andriette la Harpe, an entrepreneur, made it to the top of the competition and will cook -ff for the top prize and title.
The trio spoke to Danny Painter about their love for food and cooking, and the challenges they face when in the 'MasterChef SA' kitchen.
