Make My Tuesday: R4,000 worth of vouchers for talented 11-year-old

Katryn's sister, Bianca de Jager, wrote to the Scenic Drive to help her sister with some creative paints, a doll or new clothing.

Here's her message: 

Good day Jaca team, I'm writing to you about my stunning baby sister who is 11-years-old. 

Due to unfortunate events, our parents have never been able to provide her with a room or a bed of her own. She's always dreamed of having her own room and she loves painting and decorating her dollhouse with whatever leftover school project paint she can find in an attempt to dream up her own world. 

Whenever she visits me she rearranges my spare-bedroom to suit her style. She loves DIY projects at school. She is top 5 in her grade every year, and whenever she gets pocket money she will look for a puzzle and them some snacks. 

Please help me make her day, if possible with some creative paints or wooden sticks, a doll, or perhaps a new pair of shoes?  

With the help of Crafter's Market and The Grove Mall, the Scenic Drive was able to help little Katryn.

The Grove Mall arranged waffles and ice cream at Milky Lane for her.

They also gave her an R1,000 Pick and Pay voucher to buy some dolls/puzzles /or whatever she needs for school or to keep her busy during the holiday. 

The Grove Mall also gave her an R2,000 voucher to use at any of her favourite clothing/shoe stores to get her ready for spring with some new outfits.

A staff member from Resilient (owners of The Grove) also gave Katryn a sewing machine and some money to buy material to make her dolls some clothes.
